There is No Thinking, and My Lungs Don’t Breath.

Part two of this series. This note will focus on more specific details that have happened to be in the past, which I soon hope to let go and/or come to terms with. I will do my best to refrain from mentioning names or details about people that have done harm. As close as these people are to me, they have dealt a great amount of emotional confusion, and frustration upon me. I forgive them, though. Read more

Through Countless Sleepless Nights…

Before I start. I would like to say that this is going to be a multi-part note. I will release these notes in “Chapters” of aspects of my life. This is the first one in what should total to be about three or four notes. I would greatly appreciate if you would take the time to read these notes carefully. This is my last-ditch-effort to end this monologue of pain that I am putting myself through.

Correcting School’s Corrections

I suppose you could refer to this as a rant, but I see it as a persuasive writing. I carefully wrote this with the thought that I’d be able to turn it into some sort of presentation to give to my school. Whether it be though a speech, or posting up on the walls. I want it to be read/heard. So please, pass this on. The only thing I ask is to leave it uncredited, and do not take credit of it. I don’t want credit of this for one simple reason: We all think think this. Or at least the majority of us do. Anyone could write the work I’ve put on this paper, but becuase I haven’t seen anyone do so, I did.

Correcting School’s Corrections

Every two days at Mitchell High School we have a black day. Teachers will give out homework to do, and bring back – completed – on the next black day. The way teachers correct papers is quite funny though. Some like to correct them while the students are working on their next assignment, some like to take them all home and spend all night working on them, then, there’s the instant class correct. This is where the teacher says, “Pass your papers to your neighbor to correct.” This can become a problem, don’t you think? The “instant correct” method of correcting papers is – to me – the least effective, and most disliked way of correcting. I’m here to change the teachers that do use this method. This is not going to be me saying it’s the teachers fault. I’m not going to rag on them, as they probably get enough of that in class. I’m going to focus on more why it’s a bad system to use.

Rant: Web 2.0

First of all I just want to say: Sorry for going against my rules about not bringing up MexiCompany, but I don’t have another place to put this, and I don’t want to create yet another blog on my sever.

WEB 2.0!
When people finally figure out what it is, they’re amazed that they are the ones that make websites… websites now. The web designer just has to make the platform for the users to (so to speak) throw up on.
Anyway. This goes on for some time, then someone gets the idea, “I’m going to screw everyone over” and erases everything on a certain page. Everyone gets pissed. Then everyone is whining about how easy it is to deface websites in web2.0.  I believe this is where most people stop ranting about web2.0 and deal with it….

I’m bored.

Yeah, I decided after my websites all went down for about 3 hours, and have just recovered. I should write a blog post!

I’m BORED! Yes, I really am. I’m just sitting in my class, reading stupid crap I found the internet. I’m not really even in a class. I’m in SRB (Student Reading Block) It’s where you get an hour and a half to “read” when really all anyone does is get on their computers and play games.

Anyway……………….. I havent gotten any more new music since, like, two weeks ago, and I don’t really know what to write. This class gets over in about 7 minutes, so I have to finish up now. GOODBYE EVERYONE!

Getting in touch

So last night I was looking though my fonts and I realized I was missing one very important one to me. It was given to me by one of my online friend’s. So I quick hopped on IRC and tried looking for him… but I didn’t see him. So I asked if anyone had seen him, but no one even knows him anymore… So I went on….

I thought, maybe he’s still in my email somewhere. I go check my gmail, and well… Nothing, I was wondering how I could get in touch with him… Then I remembered, he has a few sites on the internet, so I’ll just go to one of them and find the contact page! So I googled the sites and everything, but either the contact page wasn’t working, or was for business. :(

So finally, I just googled his name, and oh, DUH! His personal website came up at number 1. And on that site he had a web link to his blog, and his blog had his email address! I finally added him on my gmail and we talked for a while. I got my font, and went to bed.

Anyway, point being, I missed him quite a bit. Not for the font :P but just because he’s a pretty cool guy. I’m glad I got to track him down and got to talk to him for a while. He even remembered my name! (After so long.) It was just really neat… I really hope we can talk a lot more often.

hmm.. WordPress 2.7

I’ve had it, on all three blogs here. for about a month… My thoughts on it are here….

  • Not fast
  • Ugly
  • Messy

Those are the bad things, now for the good.

  • Dashboard is freaking awesome
  • Widget setup is so much easier
  • Coding is quite good
  • Spam prevention is much improved

Just a thought

So I’m sitting here in the office at my school… I got kicked outta English for not doing my stuff… Anyway. I was wondering about this: Why when you get kicked outta the room, you go to the office, sit down, and wait? That means, everyone in the same group (people who do nothing) are in the same room, just causing more havoc. Isn’t there a better way to deal with this? Lol. Just wondering….
