A Blog About Life… Isn't That Unusual?

I see that last time I told anyone about my music collection was May 12, 2009. This means I must give an update. Here are my new statistics:

• 9,732 files
• 50.4 Gigabytes
• 652 hours, 29 minutes, 21 seconds

You can view a complete formatted list of all my music artists here or here(unformatted). (Please note that there may be some un-organization due to some songs being from miscellaneous sources, or having no actual band that played them. I do, however, assure you that this is my true music collection, and I listen to everything that is placed in my music folder.

The statistics are made using MediaMonkey, and selecting my music folder and waiting for all the statistics at the bottom to be done.

So here I am again, looking at how much music I have. I’m amazed. Seriously, only about 7 years of collecting music and I have 39.2GB worth of music. Here are some statistics I’ve done.

• 7,799 Files (AUDIO FILES ONLY)
• 529:23:24 (Thats 529 Hours, 23 minutes, and 24 seconds)
• 345 Bands (A little more, due to a misc folder.)
• 1,179 folders in my music folder.

And heres the math behind it:

529 / 24 = 22.0416 repeating… This means 22.0416 days of music.

22 / 7 = 3.1488095238 weeks of music.

Now seriously. This is a lot. Right? A sixteen year old should not have this much music! xD
If I just played my entire library of music without repeat on, it would play straight for 3 freaking WEEKS. That’s over half a month.  Nonstop. That is a lot of music. I love music, it really is my life.

That concert I was talking about in my previous post. I AM GOING! I have the tickets and everything. I’ve even invited Lane (his website is linked on my blog) to come with me. Tickets were $52.77 each! HOLY CRAP! But it’s damn worth it. Today has been going to slow :(

Tomorrow will be worse.

I don’t go to school on Thursday because it’s a 5 hour drive to get to the town. And the show starts at 6:30. There’s a meet&greet that we are also going to that is at 4:30 – 6:15. I’m so EXCITED!!!

Right now I’m sitting in saturday school. So I just got really bord and decided I’ll make a blog post.

Let’s see. I told you I bought an xbox 360… That came with two controlers, the headset, 3 games… I havent told you that I bought Halo 3! I DID! But I had to send it back… The disc could not be read on my xbox.  So I called Microsoft’s xbox suport, and talked to them for nearly 20 minutes. We figured out that it’s not my xbox, but I need to retunr the game and get a new one… Damnit. I bought this on the internet, I dont want to have to return it, and pay shipping and handling! >:[

So I returned it anyway. $8 to send a .25lb package. ugh, that’s epic bull. Now I just have to wait for my RMA to get processed and returned, then hopefully I can actually play the game!

On other news… I MIGHT GO TO ANOTHER AWESOME CONCERT! As some of you may know I love Lamb Of God, As I Lay Dying, and Children Of Bodom, right? We’ll.  They’re coming about 5 hours away from me, and I’ve talked to my dad, and he’s said we can talk about it, my friend (Lane) and I would pay our own tickets to go, which happens to split about $120! I really want to go, I hope I can. It’s on the 30th of this month.

Bands Preforming: Lamb Of God, As I Lay Dying, Children Of Bodom, God Forbid, and Municiple Waste. All in one night, SWEEEEEET!
