I’ve had it, on all three blogs here. for about a month… My thoughts on it are here….

Those are the bad things, now for the good.

  • Dashboard is freaking awesome
  • Widget setup is so much easier
  • Coding is quite good
  • Spam prevention is much improved

Now for the word review:
GREAT JOB WordPress! You’re impressed me with the 2.7 update. You used a different dashboard for two versions, and then made ANOTHER new one. This one I like. I like the organized left-side bars, with the collapsing ability. I just love it, I can get to places in the Admin Index much fast…. or not. There is just one problem with it… you see? I just don’t think that it’s fast enough… Call it my server, but I know it’s not; at least not all the time. When I click on the links, it usually takes about 15 seconds for the next page to show up, when it really shouldn’t. I love the features, just not a big fan of the speed.

Now. About the look. Get some freaking color. I don’t like the LIGHT GREY, and WHITE style that you’ve had for a long time… Make wordpress able to have themes… for the admin index. I want something darker, because it’s just awkward when I have a black blog, and a whiter than hell admin page… Just need some color.

The mess. Really, the sidebar and navigation is cleaner than I could make, but the actual page content is messy, it’s like throwing 17 widgets next to each other without any order. Yeah, you can change the order, and make them collapse, but I just don’t like that fact that all the content is puked out and thrown on the page.

THE RATING: I love the feature, love the update, and love it all, even if it’s retarded (Delayed). I give WordPress 2.7 a: 7.5/10
